What a great experience! First of all, I got the leafs tickets because my sister's friend got
them from a concierge service, and I had been asking her for a while to try and see if she could get a couple for my dad and
I. Well I just about fainted when she emailed me and told me that she'd gotten me tickets for the last home game of the
season. My parents and I went down to Oakville on Sunday March 28th-night before the game. On the day of the game before
my dad and I went, I got ready by putting on my stickers-leafs logo on one cheek and go leafs go on the other one, my white
leafs jersey, my leafs hat and of course I got my leafs flag ready too. My mom took some pictures of my dad
and I before the game, and one of them is posted on here, as you can see(the other one didn't come out very good). Anyway
my dad and I took a go train to Toronto and into the ACC we went. I stepped in there, and thought wow! this place
is incredible! All the great leafs stuff! My dad and I went up to our seats up in section 320-purple, and I thought,
we can see pretty good from here! I was surprised, because beforehand, I didn't know how good the view would be.
You can see good from anywhere in that place. I used the binoculars a bit(mostly during the practice), but I really didn't
need them that much. The game started off with Atlanta scoring the first 2 goals in the first period. Dany Heatley scored
the first one, followed by Serge Aubin, over a minute later. I was saying to my dad "uh-oh!", already 2-0 for Atlanta!, "this
sucks because the leafs usually play better when they score the first goal!". I shouldn't have worried :-D Brian
Leetch made a beautiful pass to Tie Domi from behind the net, whose one-timer suddenly made it only 2-1 Atlanta. I just
love Brian Leetch! He's amazing, how he can put the puck through, all those bodies :-). Alexander Mogilny tied the game with
only 47 seconds left in the first period. The crowd, including me of course, went CRAZY!!!!!!!!! Roberts passed the puck from
behind the net to him. Anyway needless to say, that first period was WILD!!!!!!!!!! :-) Nothing much to say about the second
period. No goals were scored. The third period was GREAT! Gary Roberts gave Toronto the lead after his shot deflected off
Atlanta defenceman Andy Sutton's skate and in the net. Nik Antropov scored to make it 4-2 during a power play by putting
a rebound past Atlanta goalie Pasi Nurminen. YAY!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME GAME! It was one of the best experiences ever! Nothing
like being right there, LIVE! I hope to experience it next season too. I want to thank the entire leafs team for playing
a great game, and treating me to one of the best ever. Also I want to thank Miranda for getting me the tickets in the first
place. Without her, I would never have gotten to this incredible game. Thanks Randi! I had a great time! GO
